Steam Next Fest 2025: the Massive Battle Demo
The June 2 announcement invited players to a limited battle demo during Steam Next Fest, from June 9 to June 16, 2025. Those dates have passed. The demo focused on large sieges rather than the full persistent-world loop.
A scheduled test, not permanent access
The main menu displayed the next event time, and participation was restricted to those sessions. Siege Camp used the event to test dense battles and its server technology. The announcement's stated target was support for up to 1,000 players; that target is not evidence of attendance at any particular battle.
