Scade Statue

A tall statue looms over you, standing comfortably in the darkness. You recognize the figure as Scade, Calligan goddess of the night, gatekeeper of the Underworld. She carries her signature double-headed axe in one hand, and a sprouting skull in the other. It's a strange sight to see such artistry and craftsmanship so deep underground. Perhaps this location was once part of a pilgrimage or had some significance to the people who once ruled this land. It may be the most stunning thing you’ve laid your eyes on. A shiver runs down your spine as Scade’s features bloom clear within the abyssal cloak of her surroundings. You turn away. From the corner of your eye, you swear she smiles.
