Mine Warning

Hastily carved runes adorn a wood plank. The plank is spongy with damp rot. The painted surface appears to vibrate. Upon closer inspection, ants, beetles, and countless crawling insects weave through their new home inside the rotten wood. A single touch could compromise whatever pitiful structure remains. You expect it to collapse soon. The runes caution intrepid miners that the path ahead is treacherous. Only experienced delvers should attempt it. There might have been more to it, but the wood is too damaged to tell. You resolve not to disturb the notice, lest the warning aid another soul unfortunate enough to stumble into this cave.
